Rotary Bo Stail di Biba! Disfruta i biba konsiente

The Rotary Club of Curaçao is on a mission to inspire a healthier, more vibrant community! With the Rotary Bo Stail di Biba! initiative, we aim to empower as many Curaçaoans as possible with the knowledge and motivation to embrace a healthier lifestyle in an accessible and engaging way.

This comprehensive program offers practical tools to seamlessly integrate better nutrition, movement, stress management, and sleep habits into daily routines. With three dynamic pathways—School Initiative, In-Company Initiative, and Public Initiative—there is an opportunity for everyone to get involved!

The program is built around two essential modules:

1. Nutrition Module

This module equips participants with valuable insights into making healthier food choices through:

  • Expert-led nutrition workshop

  • A Supermarket Safari to master smart shopping habits

  • Hands-on healthy cooking sessions to transform knowledge into practice

  • Hydration awareness to emphasize the importance of proper fluid intake for overall health

2. Movement, Stress, and Sleep Module

A holistic approach to well-being, covering:

  • The benefits of physical activity and movement

  • Effective stress management techniques for a balanced life

  • The role of quality sleep in health and productivity

 

Each session is led by experts from Dutch Caribbean Lifestyle Clinic, ensuring a high-impact learning experience that translates into lasting lifestyle changes.

School Initiative

Early education is key! In partnership with elementary schools, we introduce young minds to the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Each month, a selected school sends:

  • Two students from grades 6, 7, and 8

  • One parent

  • Two teachers

  • The school principal

All participants join the program free of charge, with transportation provided. After completing the course, students share their learnings with peers through engaging presentations. These presentations are recorded and shared via social media, extending the impact even further!

In-Company Initiative

Investing in employee well-being pays off! Businesses can integrate Rotary Bo Stail di Biba! into their corporate wellness programs, offering employees:

  • Expert-led health sessions

  • Interactive movement and stress management workshops

  • Tools to improve daily habits for sustained well-being

A healthier workforce leads to higher productivity, reduced absenteeism, and a more positive work environment.

Public Initiative

Health is for everyone! Through open community sessions, anyone can participate in this transformative program. Public events, workshops, and online content ensure that healthy living is within reach for all Curaçaoans.

Developed by Rotary Club of Curaçao in collaboration with experts from the Dutch Caribbean Lifestyle Clinic, this initiative is designed for sustainable impact. Through continuous feedback, adaptation, and expansion, we ensure that Rotary Bo Stail di Biba! remains a cornerstone of health education for years to come.

Curaçao meets Jostiband: Music connects, inspires, and surprises

From Friday, October 3 to Sunday, October 12, 2025, Curaçao will welcome the Jostiband.

Thanks to initiatives from the island, it has become possible for the Jostiband to make an inspiring musical and educational visit to Curaçao.

With the project “Curaçao meets Jostiband”, the orchestra shows that people with intellectual disabilities are often capable of much more than many think—and that making music is above all about joy, connection, and possibilities.
