Venetian Masquerade Ball a Great Success |
|
PHOTO UPDATE! On January 17, 2008 Rotary Club Curaçao were the hosts of the first annual 'Around the World with Rotary' Fundraiser Party. On this ocassion the "Venetian Masquerade Ball" was chosen as the theme of the party.
This well organized event featured the popular Venezuelan band EA, the swinging Rhumba Band and the allways awesome DJ Brazao. The exhibition hall of the World Trade Center was completely transformed for the ocasion. |

At the Ban Topa on the weekend of October 31 through November 2nd, the Arubans once again demonstrated their world famous trait hospitality. Arriving at the beautiful Divi Resort we instantly knew the quality of event that was awaiting us.
Our first get together was a superb barbeque on the beach across the street complete with musical entertainment. The next morning the board members of the four ABC clubs met and discussed matters that concerned all of us while the spouses were given a tour around a big Rotary project (Centro Kibrahacha). |

Donations for Youth Related Projects |

The annual Feria Rotaria, organized by Rotary Club Curaçao has grown in size and popularity. The 2008 edition, organized on the Plaza Brion in Otrabanda was no exception. The food items (including the infamous foot-long hotdogs) and entertainment provided attracted a large crowd, as was also the case in previous years. Revenues generated by selling supermarket articles, furniture, clothing, organizing an auto show and by offering several games visitors could participate in, were all earmarked for charitable causes. |
